I admit, I was supremely disappointed to hear Ghostrider came in at number one this weekend, making $44.5 million; this is just shy of my estimate for the whole 4 weeks! Who would have guessed Nicholas and Eva would be able to pull it off? Just for the record, here is a photo of the two stars at San Diego's Comic Con, looking exactly like they wouldn't rake in $44.5 million for a movie. Perhaps there are just more closet Ghostrider fans out there than I could have anticipated....



My little brother was in town this weekend, and he wanted to see it...but I told him I couldn't possibly contribute to the box office sums for what I (and other critics) saw as a sure flop. And despite it's success, I am still skeptical. We saw Breach instead...which I give my approval.
